Another year is knocking at our door. The Larson Gallery 2011-2012 season has much in store for everyone this year.
Our 2010 – 2011 season was rich with a mix of technology, travel and tantalizing visual treats. We introduced our new blog, were transported to Italy and privileged to get a peek into our treasured local artists inner sanctums. Just a slice of a great year.
Continuing our mission of “presenting, preserving and promoting the art and artists in our region”, our first exhibition delivers works by Ann Bowker and Sue Grimshaw in “Journeys without Maps” expressing ideas in a multi media display. This sets the stage for the entire season, weaving trends, emotions and excitement in our growing community of art enthusiasts.
Another exciting bit of news is the upcoming gallery renovation. The walls of the gallery will be transformed in January in a much needed upgrade. New surfaces, paint and life will be restored to our jewel!
This year we are offering our members the option of going “GREEN” - go PAPERLESS!. If you so elect you can receive all our announcements, newsletters and other information sent out by the Gallery by email only! This is a win, win, win situation; we save money on printing and paper, the environment saves resources, and you save by not having so much paper waste. Please consider this option. You will find a place to mark on the front of the membership return card.
Thank you for your support for another season at The Larson Gallery. We hope you decide to join our members in anticipation of a new year and we want to see you often during this year’s events.
Sincerely,
Teresa Pritchard
