Title: “String Theory”

The   mannequin was created using oil paint, enamel, hot glue, and was finished with an acrylic gloss varnish.  I tried to treat the surface like a painting, as opposed to thinking in three dimensions.  The title is "String Theory", a theory that is based on the premise that all energy is made up of "strings".  I find the whole theory  fascinating, and even though I am not a scientist, it strikes a chord within me.  I am very  interested in what makes our universe tick, and what ever that might be, it shows itself in all things, including our little mannequins.
